Here is the deal. They both look equally nice on you. Literally either one is lovely. But YOU have wanted an emerald for years, and I think if you get the oval, as much as you’ll enjoy it, you will always kick yourself for not getting the emerald.
But listen. Sparkly things make me happy, and I think they make you happy, too. So get yourself your emerald as your “real” ring, but girl, treat yourself to a (fairly) inexpensive oval moissanite to swap out when the mood strikes.
